Export of Pets to Canada from the UK

There is no official quarantine for cats and dogs entering Canada from the United Kingdom.

Requirements:

Your pet must have been vaccinated against rabies within the last 2 years and will require a general health certificate (Fitness to Fly Certificate) from your vet within 7 days of the date of travel.
A letter declaring that the animal is a domestic pet/s and is/are owned by you and will be collected by yourself at the airport of destination. The letter should also state all the relevant flight details.
It is also advisable that dogs and cats are identified by either microchip or by permanent tattoo.

Export of Pets to the U.S.A from the UK

There is no official quarantine for pet cats and dogs entering the United States of America from the United Kingdom.

Requirements vary from State to State it is always best to check with the relevant State Veterinarian or the US Department of Agriculture for that State.
