Q. How much notice is required to make a flight booking?

A. We can make the reservation with 2 weeks notice but the more notice the better.

Q. How old does my pet have to be before he can travel?

A. Your pet must be at least 8 weeks old.

Q. How much before the flight do we have to check in my pet?

A. Normally 3 hours but we will advise you prior to departure.

Q. Should we sedate our pet?

A. Definitely not.

Q. Where will my pet be in the aircraft?

A. Animals are placed in a special hold of the aircraft which is heated, pressurised and dark

Q. Can we feed my pet before travel?

A. Treat as if you are taking your pet to the vets for an operation, if you have an afternoon flight then just feed something very light in the morning.

Q. What breed of dog is not accepted for travel on the aircraft?

A. We cannot fly the following breed of dog:
  • Old English Bulldogs
  • French Bulldogs
  • Pug
  • Pekinese
  • Boston Terrier
  • Boxer
  • Brussels Griffin
  • Shihz tzu
  • Lhasa Apso

Q. Does my pet have luggage allowance?

A. No. You can take your pets bits and pieces with you as part of your luggage allowance alternatively you can pack them up and send them separately as freight.
